I started Alison’s Country Kitchen 30 years ago in a small bakery providing cakes to family and friends and local businesses.
Customer service and attention to detail is my real passion and although the bakery was successful I needed a shop where I could meet people and let them enjoy the full range of Alison’s Country Kitchen treats!
the coffee shop and Bakery is in the heart of the village and we often open our doors and host many local community and charity events.
Our Chistmas events are always popular and we love Breakfast with Santa, giving us an opportunity to spoil the children and families who regulary use the coffee shop.
In celebration of being in business for over 20 years in 2018 we became a licensed premises and during covid we added a small farm shop area selling lots of local produce which has become very popular.
We feel it is so important to offer something different to our customers serving them beautiful home cooked food in a relaxed atmosphere and are always keen to offer something new.

Alison’s Country kitchen has grown over the years and we now offer a full coffee shop breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea menu. In house bakery, celebration cakes, farm shop and outside catering services
Outside area
We have a covered patio with heaters that seats 16 and a garden that seats 30. Your fury freinds are welcome in the garden and patio. Water and dog biscuits provided.
Hiker and walkers
We are very close to the Sandstone trail and there are many beautiful walks around the village and in nearby Burwardsley and Harthill.
Cyclists
We are in the middle of many well known cycle routes and have a loyal cycling customer base. we often host big groups of cyclists (booking advisable for large groups)
Outside catering
We offer business buffets, party puddings, and full catering services. we can cater for up to 200 people and Alison has a wealth of experience in event planing
